One thing[edit]

I created this template by copying it from Bulbapedia. Can we keep it? Woodchuck (talk) 09:44, 16 May 2017 (EDT)

We have {{conjectural}}, also you shouldn't copy templates from a member of the NIWA. --Alien Bunny Sprite.pngL151Onnanoko 10:38, 16 May 2017 (EDT)

I checked on Bulbapedia:Template:Tt. Our version is very restrictive. Their version allows for any text. Ours ({{conjectural}}) is restricted by either having Conjectural name for _____ or The name of this subject is conjectural and has not been confirmed by Nintendo. I think it is a good idea to have {{tt}} for cases where neither caption would work. The other template is for titles we make up for things we see in games that we can't find an official source. We can use the template from Bulbapedia for anything we need a footnote. With that said, Woodchuck (talk) should create a proposal on this. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 14:52, 16 May 2017 (EDT)
I agree --Super Mario Fan 67 (TCS) 15:11, 16 May 2017 (EDT)
Bulbapedia uses the CC BY-NC-SA 2.5 license, while MarioWiki uses CC BY-SA 3.0. This means that it could be used if 1. Attribution is given (more info in that link), 2. Be for non-commerial use only, and 3. Changes be distributed under the same license. I don't know whether MarioWiki could do the second and third points since it does not have that same license restriction. If it is acceptable, we would need to link to the original and give attirbution to Bulbapedia. --Super Mario Fan 67 (TCS) 15:11, 16 May 2017 (EDT)
