Chip-Shot Challenge
Template:Minigame-infobox Chip Shot Challenge is a 4-Player minigame found in Mario Party 3 and Mario Party: The Top 100.
Introduction
Lakitu appears and places the red flag in the hole to be shot at in the game. The camera pans back to show one of the players about to make a shot, and the minigame begins.
In Mario Party: The Top 100, the flag falls into the hole from the sky. After the camera pans to all the players, one is randomly chosen to go first.
Gameplay
The players have to make a shot to the hole on the hill as accurately as possible within the time limit. If a player chips into the hole, that player automatically wins. If this happens, Lakitu holds a sign saying "NICE!" Other players can chip in and win too. If no players chip in, the player whose ball is closest to the hole wins. If two or more players tie with the condition of no players chipping in, all of those players will still win. If the ball falls off the island, the player that made the shot immediately loses as Lakitu appears while holding a sign saying "MISS."
In Battle Royale mode in Mario Party 3, the players take turns based on their current positions from first place to fourth place. In Mini-Game mode, the players take turns according to player order.
