Template:Canceled Template:Infobox Super Mario's Wacky Worlds was to be a sequel to Super Mario World and to make up for Hotel Mario. Instead of traversing Mushroom World, the player would play in real locations in history on Earth. However, it eventually was canceled because of the CD-i's lack of things that the Super Nintendo could do, such as Mode 7 and the FX chip. There is 2 known Prototypes, but only one of them was leaked on the internet, and is extremly primitive and it had the music from Super Mario World. Phillips showed Nintendo the second prototype of the game. Nintendo was impressed, but for some reason, it was still cancelled.
