Is it really noteworthy? Should we merge the SMW content with Lava Bubble as they have the same Japanese name, turn the current article into a redirect for the level, and rename it to Zigzag Lava Bubbles? There was apparently a proposal that failed on splitting the Para and Big enemies. --Ski Yoshi FanOfYoshi A Dr. Freezegood 13:51, 14 February 2019 (EST)

Had the same Japanese name. Anyways, that mostly applies to recolors, of which these are not. These seem more similar to Koopa Troopa vs. Climbing Koopa. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 13:54, 14 February 2019 (EST)
Agree. Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 18:46, 14 February 2019 (EST)
Thing is that this is just referencing a course title, which may have been intended as a generic descriptor rather than a proper name. LinkTheLefty (talk) 13:03, July 8, 2019 (EDT)
Agreed with LinkTheLefty. --Ski Yoshi FanOfYoshi A Dr. Freezegood 11:21, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
Ultimately, a merge seems valid. After all, diagonal Bullet Bills were in SMW as well. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:39, May 6, 2020 (EDT)
I guess. --Ski Yoshi FanOfYoshi A Dr. Freezegood 12:35, December 1, 2020 (EST)

The supposed "name" of this is just taken from a SMM course title, and as such is likely not even a proper "name" for this entity anyway; our sole alternate source simply identifies them as a Lava Bubble. SMW also had diagonal Bullet Bills, and we don't treat those any different.

  1. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) - Per.
  2. Scrooge200 (talk) Per proposal. This has been bugging me for a while.
  3. Hewer (talk) Per proposal, these are just Lava Bubbles that happen to move diagonally.
  4. Somethingone (talk) I honestly wondered why these were split in the first place.
