Talk pages
Talk pages on the wiki are for discussing articles, not the thing that the pages are about, as this is considered forum talk. The comments you made on the Kitten and Fury Stake talk pages have been removed for that reason, and while you are welcome to discuss things like that on the forums and other similar venues, please leave the talk pages for wiki matters only. Talk:Invincibility Bell
You've already uploaded the file, the next step is to add it to a page. It's not working because you're typing the wrong name and formatting it incorrectly (see my edit here). In cases like this, please be sure to use the "Show preview" button next to the "Save changes" button, as this lets you see what the edit looks like and make any necessary fixes before saving it, and prevents flooding the history pages with unnecessary edits.
Another thing, next time you upload a file, please keep in mind that you also need to add an image category and license under the description. To find the correct image category, follow the subcategories in Category:Images until you've found the right one and link it. For the license, add the license template (a list can be found here) for what type of file it is; for example, {{game-screenshot}}
for a screenshot from a game. (See my edit here.) I suggest using Special:Upload instead of the text editor uploader to upload as it's easier.
Lastly, can you specify where you got this image? Mario JC 00:07, March 17, 2021 (EDT)
The image that a first gave you may be fan made as well. OkSteak (talk) 11:24, April 9, 2021 (EDT)OkSteak
- Google Images is not really a good place to take images from, a lot of stuff that comes up there are likely to have fan-made edits on them. Nightwicked Bowser 13:14, April 9, 2021 (EDT)
Ok, so are we going to change the Invincibility Bell image back to the snapshot that was used before it, since even the current image was from Google Images. OkSteak (talk) 13:24, April 9, 2021 (EDT)OkSteak
Please stop uploading poorly cropped versions of artwork and screenshots with the background removed and/or transparency applied. Often the end result looks very shoddy and it's best to avoid it altogether. If Nintendo releases official transparent artwork, we'll use that, but not everything needs a blank or transparent background. Mario JC 22:01, April 9, 2021 (EDT)
