Help me make up.

Template:Missionbox Help me make up. is the twenty-ninth Trouble Center mission in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, initiated by Bub. It is one of the last three missions that are available only after defeating the Shadow Queen.

Mission

Mario must travel to Poshley Heights to find Bub just outside the Poshley Sanctum. When talked to, Bub reveals that because he had gotten into a fight his mother, Sylvia, he wrote a letter for her and wants to give her a present to make it up to her. He asks Mario what item he should use for the present: Shroom Cake, Keel Mango, or Fright Mask. If Mario chooses Shroom Cake, he will need Zess T. to mix a Mushroom with a Cake Mix (bought from Pianta Parlor) to make one. If Mario chooses Keel Mango, he will need to travel to Keelhaul Key to obtain one. After delivering the selected item to Bub, he makes the present out of the item and the letter. Since Bub is afraid to face his angry mother, he asks Mario to deliver the present to Sylvia for him, which Mario must do so. When Sylvia reads the letter and opens the present from Bub, she is so touched by her son's gesture and asks Mario (calling him "Gonzales") to go tell Bub she is not angry with him. Mario must then go back to Bub and tell him how Sylvia felt upon receiving the present, to which Bub gratefully rewards Mario with three coins (which he says are his "entire fortune"), and the trouble is solved. It is revealed that the fight was caused by Bub not doing his homework.
