Talk:Freezie
"Freezie is the only recurring enemy from Mario Bros. that has kept its NES name rather than its original Arcade name."
I'm pretty sure Spinies were in that game, too.Monty Mole 14:15, 7 August 2006 (EDT)
- In the original arcade game, Shellcreepers, turtle-like enemies that resemble Koopa Troopas, were the basic enemy. In later remakes, Spiny replaced Shellcreeper. This was so newer gamers would not be confused and jump on the turtle enemy (which would, of course, kill Mario). -- Son of Suns
Oh, all right. Thanks. I was a little confused about that. Cheers! Monty Mole 14:21, 7 August 2006 (EDT)
Slipice[edit]
to Freezie. We should go with the common name. Unshy Guy (talk) 20:48, 21 November 2013 (EST)
Verification[edit]
"If all three platforms are frozen, no more Freezies will appear for that phase." I FEEL like that isn't the case in the remakes, but I can't be sure. Can someone double check for me when they get a chance? -- Lord G. matters. 18:07, July 25, 2019 (EDT)
Big Freezie[edit]
Shouldn't the Big Freezie from Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix get his own article? He is a notable member of the Freezie species, the name isn't conjectural (when you start the battle it says "Big Freezie Battle") and you can even see normal Freezies around him. --Magma.
