The Star in the Sinking Swamp

Template:Missionbox The Star in the Sinking Swamp is the hidden third mission of the Boo Moon Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. This mission takes place in the Silver Stars Pop-Up mission.

Mission

The player has to redo the first mission up until they reach the Launch Star at the end of the Sinking Swamp. The swamp is filled with poison and that will instantly kill Mario if he enters it. Instead of taking the Launch Star, the player should continue following the Snake Block, which will dive under the swamp, but will resurface shortly after. Following along a smaller and faster moving Snake Block and avoiding the Octoboos, the player can reach the Power Star at the end.
