Template:Kart-infobox The Gold Mantis is Waluigi's primary kart in Mario Kart DS. It resembles a standard excavator, containing a little cab to sit. It probably represents Waluigi's avaricious "gold digger" personality. The emblem is located on the front and right side of the kart. It has high speed, average weight, acceleration, handling, and drift, and low selection of items. It shares its drift and handling with the 4-Wheel Cradle, Shooting Star and Standard WL.

For anyone to use it, the player must get all gold trophies in Mirror Mode. Until then (once all gold trophies in Nitro or Retro Grand Prix in 150cc are obtained), Mario and Donkey Kong can use it.
