Why is this treated as a separate character to Bowser?

Having its own article is fine, but as far as this game's manual goes, "Koopa" isn't the species, it's the character King Koopa. Meaning this is definitely Bowser. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:03, April 22, 2020 (EDT)
- I suppose it's for the same reason we have Game & Watch's Mini Donkey Kong. LinkTheLefty (talk) 07:45, April 23, 2020 (EDT)
- Yeah, but at least that's specified as a miniature version, anyway. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 11:32, April 23, 2020 (EDT)
- Another thing to add is that unlike Donkey Kong, Bowser doesn't make a major appearance elsewhere in the game (he does appear in a graphic of him getting kicked out a floating castle in the top right where it resembles the alarm form, but it's too small to make out clearly). The manual also flips between calling this character "Alarm Koopa" and "Koopa", and when it does name Bowser in the Princess' letter, it's "the Bowser". Given that and the strange grammar throughout, the translation was clearly not given to the A-team here. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:05, April 23, 2020 (EDT)
- Yah, I have the watch version of this with the manual. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:18, April 23, 2020 (EDT)
