Japan (Japanese: 日本; Rōmaji: Nihon or Nippon; Ainu: ニホン; Engrish: ジャパン) is an island country in Asia on Earth. This (specifically, Kyoto) is where Nintendo of Japan is located and where many Mario games are developed. Japan also made an appearance in NES Open Tournament Golf as one of the playable countries along with the United States of America and the United Kingdom. It also appeared in Mario is Missing! where Luigi had to go here, more specifically Tokyo.
