Talk:Mushroom Kingdom (Super Smash Bros.)
Mushroomy Kingdom
I think that Mushroomy Kingdom should be split from this page, it is a different stage with a different official name (unlike Rainbow Ride/Cruise, which has a different name but is the same environment). - Cobold (talk · contribs) 05:28, 23 January 2008 (EST)
- I agree. Different name, different stage, not 8-bit and...it has many differences. It should be moved to its own article. Paper Jorge
I, Koopster 64 agree. As you can see, the stage, Mushroomy Kingdom, is a lot different from the Mushroom Kingdom we know today, so, we must move the Mushroomy Kingdom, to it's own article!

Mushroom Kingdom U
Should the Mushroom Kingdom U part of the article be moved to a new page and expanded on? It's quite different to the original stage. Giffy Stylish! 10:00, 1 August 2015 (EDT)

Shouldn't the Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee versions of this stage be two seperate articles? The introduction paragraph even states that they are two different stages and links to two different articles on the Smash Wiki. Doesn't make much sense to me that they're both on the same article. - I agree, the stages seem to be different, especially since the N64 version is the one reappearing for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 15:06, 28 September 2018 (EDT)
- Agree as well. Mario JC 21:53, 28 September 2018 (EDT)
- Hmm, I'm thinking about contesting this a year and a half later. I feel due to the manner in which the graphics are overhauled in Ultimate, that it's more a "best of both worlds" combination of the two. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 03:24, February 20, 2020 (EST)
- The thing is that Mushroom Kingdom isn't considered one of Melee's Past Stages, and while you can say that the layout looked closer to the original stage in an early build, all the other Past Stages are marked as "OLD" internally, so this seems more of a Planet Zebes / Brinstar & Sector Z / Corneria situation where the basic idea is the same but elements are tweaked enough to make it "new".
