Template:Minigame-infobox Domination is a four-player minigames in Mario Party 4. Its name is a pun on "domination", (having control over something else), and dominoes. If the player is able to knock down 100 Whomps or more, they will unlock the Goomba Clock in the Present Room.

Introduction

The camera pans down a long row of Whomps, stopping on the four players. The Whomps then disappear into the ground as the game starts.

Gameplay

The goal is to set up the most Whomps, which act as dominoes. Each character wields a mallet and a switch. Each time the switch is hit, a Whomp is set up. When the time is up, the character knocks over the Whomps. The character with the most Whomps knocked over wins.

Ending

The players punch the Whomps, knocking them over like dominoes. After all are knocked over, one more Whomp appears in front of the winning line, holding a flag with the winner on top. That player does a victory pose.

Trivia

  • This mini-game is based on Hudson Soft's Shooting Watch. The highest possible score is 160, most likely because that is Takahashi Meijin's trademark number of button presses in 10 seconds.
  • The world record belongs to the twitch streamer ludwig ahgren with a score of 213. He achieved this using a hacked version of the game allowing a score larger than 160.
