Roger the Potted Ghost

Roger the Potted Ghost was a boss character from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and was located in the final castle of World 2. Roger started out as a lifeless flower pot, but was transformed by Kamek’s magic into a large ghost named Roger. To defeat him, the Purple Yoshi had to push Roger and his pot into a hole in the floor. This was a difficult process, as two green Shy Guys were pushing Roger in the opposite direction. Throughout the battle, Roger lunged at the Yoshi, hoping to knock him into the hole. He also shot blue flames at the Yoshi. In the end, the Purple Yoshi succeeded in pushing Roger (and his Shy Guy helpers), off the edge, thus destroying them.

He may or may not be the inspiration of Jarvis, a ghost similar to him in Luigi's Mansion.
