Ice Mario has the ability to walk on water by freezing it.

Ice Mario is a form that Mario takes on in Super Mario Galaxy when he grabs an Ice Flower. The result allows him to walk on water and lava by freezing it, creating huge snowflakes acting as temporary platforms.
