A Traitor's Fate
Template:Levelbox A Traitor's Fate is a post-game level in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey.
Overview
As Private Goomp, Corporal Paraplonk and Sergeant Guy are walking around Bowser's Castle, the other minions berate them for betraying Bowser and locking him in a safe, despite Bowser having pardoned the trio of their treason. As the trio express remorse for their actions, the troops state that they have to earn back their trust. Suddenly Bowser Jr., who was walking around bored, recognizes the trio and asks about their defection to Fawful, eventually concluding that the Malatone Formula:X was involved in some manner. He then requests that they fight with him.
The level consists of four battles, with each of the trio - General Guy, Corporal Paraplonk, and Private Goomp - acting as captain in that order for the first three battles, with underlings of the same base enemy type (i.e. Shy Guys, Koopa Troopas and Goombas). The fourth battle has Bowser Jr. fight the whole trio, who battle alongside two of their underlings; Private Goomp and Corporal Paraplonk act as captain and first officer respectively, with General Guy as one of the troops. After defeating them all, they join Bowser Jr.'s team as his "sparring partners" (much to their dismay).
