Per MarioWiki:Proposals/Archive_4#Quotes?, quotes that aren't intelligble speech are outlawed. I've tried removing such quotes, as well as using the {{Rewrite}} template, but every time, I've been reverted - which, by the way, borders on WP:OWN (or whatever the equivalent MarioWiki policy/guideline is). - I agree that the nonquotes should be destroyed with extreme prejudice. I suggest notifying the users who reverted it (link to one of the possible WP:OWN violations). TheDarkStar 21:47, August 26, 2019 (EDT)
- I also agree with getting rid of those. The users who undid your edits were in the wrong, I believe. There's also some quotes that aren't unintelligible (not necessarily on this page) that are so generic I don't see the point of writing them down (i.e. "Yeah!", "Wahoo!", "Oh no!") that I'd like to see removed at some point in the future. -- Too Bad! - Yeah, remove 'em. Unless it's specifically defined through a speech bubble, those types of quotes have no place in a quotes page. (T|C) 23:20, August 27, 2019 (EDT)
- As far as I can tell, that IP is still adding some of these exclamations that are not quotes, specifically relating to Kirby in some way. Maybe an invisible note that's only visible for editors in the source code could fix the problem if it continues...or if not, a protection would be necessary. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 17:24, August 30, 2019 (EDT)
