Flatbush Koopa / Opera is the forty-eighth episode of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! Its corresponding live-action segment is "Opera".

Plot Synopsis

It was a happy day in the Mushroom Kingdom-- King Koopa has finally decided to disband the Koopa Pack and leave the Mushroom Kingdom for good. Princess Toadstool is back in her castle, and the inhabitants of the Kingdom are celebrating King Koopa's permanent departure from the Mushroom Kingdom, and were therefore, freed from Koopa's evil grasp. After the defeat of the renegade reptile and with Koopa vanquished from the Kingdom forever, Mario and Luigi can finally return home to Brooklyn, only to discover King Koopa's planning to take over Brooklyn and rename it Kooplyn! Mario and Luigi helped Princess Toadstool protect her homeland from Koopa and his Troopas, now she's going to return the favor by helping Mario and Luigi protect their hometown. But after saving Brooklyn from King Koopa and plugging the Warp Pipe leading to Brooklyn, it looks like the Mushroom Kingdom is doomed all over again when Mario and Luigi are stuck with Koopa again!
