Pointless edit
Hi, please don't make pointless edits that have nothing to do with the article, like you did here. Also, don't use the word "you" in article prose, as all articles on every wiki (including this one) must be written from a third-person perspective. Thanks! (T|C) 10:42, 26 February 2019 (EST)
Please stop adding obvious information on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
Please don't add obvious information like you did here. It doesn't need to be stated that Castle Wall isn't literally a castle wall; just an image of the course suffices. Keep this up, and a warning will be issued. (T|C) 10:51, 26 February 2019 (EST)
Writing style
Please don't leave casual, comment-like "information" (or straight-up comments) on articles. Keep in mind that this is an encyclopedia, so your information should be written in a formal, informative, and professional style. This includes the use of the word "you" (as you've already been told); we write in third-person, so you should use "the player" or the character's name instead. I would suggest giving MarioWiki:Good writing a read.
In addition, what you added on the Roto-disc page falls under MarioWiki:Good writing#Everything but the kitchen sink; it's possible to recreate a lot of elements that are remotely similar to an enemy/obstacle from the Mario franchise, so unless you have anything to add specifically about the Roto-disc, this isn't needed.
