Climber
Template:Infobox Climber is a Game & Watch game that was originally released on March 8, 1988, and is featured as an unlockable minigame in Game & Watch Gallery 4. Unlike other Game & Watch games, this game does not have a Game B. The game features a player character named Climber, who has been given special boots that allow him to jump high and armor that allows him to break ceilings. The player needs to reach the top of a 25-step fortress in a place called the Block Mountain. The player receives a point each time they climb a step. They can also jump through the right of the screen and appear on the left, and vice versa. On the way up the fortress, the player must watch out for a character named Blockman (who also creates floors), a bird-like creature called an Eyerom, and thorny plants. If the player is on the same floor that Blockman is on, the player can jump over him to avoid him. The player can go up a step without jumping into the Eyerom by pressing the Left or Right Direction button after jumping to the same level. Sometimes the floors move, so the player needs to jump onto the upper floor if the lower one is moving towards an enemy or thorny plants. The player can also jump and land on the same floor by jumping to the highest level and pressing the Left or Right Direction button. At the top of the fortress, a Bonus bird called a Hentori appears, and the player has two chances to grab it. If they succeed, they will earn 20 points. If not, they will not get a miss and will be able to continue to the next phase. Sometimes a glittering floor will appear, and if the player jumps onto it, they will automatically climb seven steps. After every five phases, a monster named Dragalo will appear at the top of the fortress, and he will randomly move up and down. The player must use a sword to stab him, earning 30 points after doing so. If Climber hits an enemy or falls off the floor, he will get a miss and drop seven stories (or to the lowest one), needing to start from there. When he receives three misses, the game is over.
