Image licensing

Hello! Welcome to the wiki, and good job on your uploads! I just wanted to let you know that instead of adding categories to the bottom of images such as Category:Game sprites or Category:Game screenshots, the image's licensing should be placed on its own section on the file. This can be done by putting templates such {{game-sprite}} and {{game-screenshot}} under a "Licensing" section. The licenses should be found in a drop-down menu when uploading the files, and the templates automatically add the related categories onto the file. Thanks, and continue contributing! --A sprite of a Flame Chomp from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.TheFlameChomp (talk) 22:18, 15 September 2018 (EDT)

Transparency

Hi, regarding this image, please keep in mind that artwork cannot be transparent unless said transparency is officially established. Is it possible to find a non-transparent version of the image? If so, then please upload that instead. Thanks and keep on contributing. Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 18:14, 16 September 2018 (EDT)

LuigiBandicoot

You say LuigiBandicoot (talk) is your old account. Do you still have access to it? If so, you really should continue using that account, as creating multiple accounts for yourself is against the rules. If not, the account will be blocked. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 20:32, 20 September 2018 (EDT)

Yeah, best to tell an admin first before making another account, even if its anonymously. Since you say you've lost the password, the account will be blocked. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 16:56, 21 September 2018 (EDT)

Reminder

Please stop applying unofficial transparency to artwork images on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing.
If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it.

Regarding this image, please do not make images pertaining to artwork transparent unless the transparency is official, as I already reminded you for above. Even if the artwork looks transparent, we can still see the discolored edge. Thanks! Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 22:55, 20 September 2018 (EDT)

The warnings from the previous account

Removed warnings

Hi. I don't think you broke any rules on this account but any warnings on your old account should be transferred to this account so we can keep your editing history. Thank you for understanding.

Removing because wow. The warnings will be kept in mind, but this was years ago. No need to bring them up now. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 22:44, 23 September 2018 (EDT)

File clone

Hey. Don't mean to interrupt, but you might've dittoed this file: "File:MLSSBMFawful2.png" --> Sprite of Fawful (first fight) without his Vacuum Helmet from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions.
Here's the file you cloned without notice: "File:MLSSBMFawfulHeadgearless.png" --> File:MLSSBMFawfulHeadgearless.png

Just saying, that image of Fawful without his headgear is already there from last year, and that it might've been an accident for you to clone it.

Spirit images

Thanks for all those uploads! There were a number of broken file links in your bulk edits, but if the image hasn't been uploaded yet and the red link is a placeholder, please don't add it until it's uploaded as it inadvertently leaves the page in Category:Articles with broken file links. Also if you could, try to resize the images according to their dimensions (Numberpx alters their width, and xNumberpx their height), as 100px for a tall image can make it overly tall, and x100px for a wide image makes the entire column too wide.
