Secret of the Inverted Pyramid is the first course of the Bonus Episode of the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS versions of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. It is a desert-themed level inspired by the Sand Kingdom from Super Mario Odyssey.

Layout

The level begins near a Touchstone, which must be activated in order to reach the next platform. This leads to the entrance of Tostarina Ruins, where two Bill Blasters are found firing Bullet Bills. Another Touchstone is found, and it can be entered from the back, leading the player into the underground ice caves. A Goomba and some Coin Stacks are found in the cave. A Touchstone leading back above ground is found, and the Inverted Pyramid is found with some Goombas behind it. Some stairs leading up to the ruins are found, where another Bill Blaster is found. At the end of the platform, another Touchstone that lifts the player is found. A floating platform must be used to reach another part of the ruins, where two more moving platforms and some Brick Blocks are found. The Inverted Pyramid can be reached, where a Pull Switch is found. When it is pulled, the level's setting changes to night and the Inverted Pyramid lifts up to reveal a hole leading to a different section of the caves. A Bill Blaster is found, leading to another Touchstone. Three more Touchstones and Bullet Bills are found, followed by the level's Power Moon.

  • Super Gem 2: Inside the third Touchstone.
  • Super Gem 3: In the air along the moving platforms leading to the top of the Inverted Pyramid; requires a Turnip to collect.
