in Yoshi's Island, these small tulip-like flowers would spurt out eggs that Yoshi could use, if he caught them, that is. If he ground pounded near one, they'd spit out three at a time, but then delay afterwards. These are also noted for spurting out the spike-ball enemies named Needlenose, which, if they hit Yoshi, would hurt him.
