Edit warring[edit]

While the information you've added to Super Mario Bros. 2 is correct, it's not necessary since both SMB2 and Super Mario Run are missing a few other power-ups that are usually in the games, such as flight power-ups, and there are several different types of projectile items in the games, making the trivia too ambiguous to really be of any use.

Additionally, repeatedly reverting the edit back and forth between other users is known as edit warring. The swearing and arguing in edit summaries is also unnecessary, and will get you blocked if either of them continues. If there is an issue, talk it out with the other users before continuously reverting the edit. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 18:27, 11 March 2018 (EDT)

All true, but that's too many exceptions right there. Keeping it to just "shooting projectiles" would encompass even the Superball Flower from Super Mario Land, which isn't a Fire Flower. And since Super Mario Bros. 3, there has been a flight power-up in every 2D Mario title aside from New Super Mario Bros. (another exception), making the flight power-ups as much of a staple nowadays as projectile power-ups. Doesn't matter what time frame the games were released in, Super Mario Bros., The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2, and New Super Mario Bros. all lack a flight power-up, so why should Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Run lacking a projectile power-up be noted? Why not note the 3D games lacking projectile items? Or the games without an invincibility item? You see what I mean? There's too many exceptions to the series to make any of that seem necessary. And there are some levels in SMB3 where a flight power-up is necessary, btw. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 19:08, 11 March 2018 (EDT)
Point is "projectile power-ups" or like-worded phrases are just too vague. Specifically mentioning a power-up would be more useful, but even so, again, there would be too many exceptions to list. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 19:27, 11 March 2018 (EDT)
