"Duck Hunt Duo" is indeed his name in the PAL localization. The wiki goes with NA naming conventions as per executive fiat, so I'm going to move it though. --Glowsquid (talk) 07:12, 4 October 2014 (EDT)

And why put "(character)" in the page title? Mario isn't "Mario (character)", and we have nothing relating to the Duck Hunt game other than the Smash character. Just keep it as plain "Duck Hunt" please. SeanWheeler (talk) 14:44, 4 October 2014 (EDT)

Okay, correction. We have some Wario microgames, but considering characters like Mario, Donkey Kong, Yoshi etc. have their own games but the characters still get the vanilla titles, I'd say move the disambiguation page to "Duck Hunt (disambiguation)" and the character "Duck Hunt". Russian Name

I changed the Russian name transcription and description. Previous information was misinformed, at best. It proposed that Russians see the word "Duck" they imagine it's "Диск", which is pronounced "Disk". This is because when Диск is written in cursive or italics: Диск, it looks almost exactly like Duck. (Keep in mind that the cursive Russian Д looks EXACTLY like the letter D in handwriting.) This theory is plausible on its own, but then the author also claimed that when they see the word Hunt they know it's pronounced "Hunt"! This is nonsense. If they view Duck as Диск, then surely they would view "Hunt" as Нипт, right? There's no way they would screw up the first word so badly and then pronounce the second properly. So I looked for evidence, and according to this video, Russians say "Duck Hunt" (Дак Хант). Listen for yourself. The only reason a Russian would say "Disk" is if they're trying to be funny because of the visual pun. (Note: I did not put the letter т in italics, because it just makes things even more confusing. It looks like a lowercase m in some fonts if you do that: т)
