Template:Minigame-infobox Scaldin' Cauldron is a Bowser minigame found in Mario Party 5.

Gameplay

Scaldin' Cauldron minigame in the game Mario Party 5.
Bowser burning a cauldron with Luigi inside.

Players must hide in one of the three cauldrons to avoid being burned by Bowser. There are three cauldrons, labeled B Button, A Button, and X Button from left to right. Players are given five seconds to hide in a cauldron. If any player fails to enter a cauldron within the five seconds, they will automatically jump in a cauldron. Once Bowser steps in, he will breathe fire on two random cauldrons and leave one safe. Sometimes, Bowser may fake out by breathing no flame or a little flame, sometimes followed by a strong flame. Players that avoid being burnt win.

Setting

This minigame, as all other Bowser minigames, takes in some sort of mountain or keep shaped like Bowser's Head. The camera zooms to the eye, in which, in the introduction, the characters are seen running from Bowser. They run through a passage and end in a locked room, in which they will find the different cauldrons. The cauldrons are red, green, and gray, respectively, and are colored after the button they represent.
