Template:Minigame-infobox The Maze That Pays is a microgame that is found in the game WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!.

After unlocking the Microgame, the player can play this microgame by picking the "Grid" selection on the bottom side of Wario's computer and opening the "Introduction" folder.

Gameplay

In this Microgame, Wario appears to be in a maze filled with Coins that he has to collect; it is similar in concept and design to the famous Pac-Man games. Paths that are connected to one of the sides on the screen connect to the opposite path for the player to use to collect the Coins quickly. If the player collects all the remaining Coins in the maze before the Wario Bomb counts to zero, they clear that round of the microgame. As the level difficulty increases, the amount of coins do so, and the locations of the coins in the maze change from round to round as well.

  • 1st level difficulty: There is only one path filled with coins.
  • 2nd level difficulty: There are two paths filled with coins.
  • 3rd level difficulty: There are three paths filled with coins.
