Template:Minigame-infobox Trash Landing is a 4-player and duel minigame that is found during the events of the game Mario Party DS. Its name is a pun on "crash landing".

Introduction

In the scene, there are players standing on a short but giant stepladder. The players sighted ropes hanging from the ceiling as they remain hanged. The minigame is set in a garage full of tools, car parts, any related object that remains in the garage. Shortly after a quick moment, the minigame starts.

Gameplay

In this minigame, the players have to pick a rope within a time limit of five seconds. The player cannot pick a rope that another player already chose. After that the players grab on the ropes they chose and glide forward. Then the players will have to safely drop themselves on one of the garage objects depending which rope they chose. If there are four players in the minigame, there will be five ropes available for all the players to choose. If there are only two players in the minigame, only three ropes are available for both players to choose.

At the very end of the garage are garage objects for the players to safely land on. Each garage object defines a different shape, size, and height. The garage objects that players can land on include a tool box, a soda can, a bucket, and two metal oil boxes. It depends what size and length the player lands on. The characteristics of each object effects the player's gameplay depending which rope the player chose.

If one or more players successfully land on a garage object safely, the players successfully win as the players that missed landing on the garage object loses. If all the players in the minigame missed landing on a garage object, it is considered a tie.
