Template:Infobox Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions (called Mario & Luigi RPG 1 DX in Japan) is an upcoming game for the Nintendo 3DS, set to be released in the Americas[1] and Europe[2] on October 6, 2017. It is an updated remake of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, which was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2003. The game also has an added story called Bowser's Minions. The game will have amiibo support for the Bowser's Minions mode, where the Koopa Troopa, Goomba, and Boo amiibo will be compatible. The game is set to be the first remake of the Mario & Luigi series, the sixth game in the series overall, and the third game in the series to be released for Nintendo 3DS.
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
The remake of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga has updated graphics and controls, looking visually similar to Mario & Luigi: Dream Team and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. The story appears to be the same as it was in the original game. However, some gameplay tweaks have been made, such as a tutorial being displayed on the bottom screen during battles when the player selects a move. Various animations have also been redone and updated. For example, the Bounce Bros. now has the advance separated and called Super Bounce Bros., which costs a little more. Button presses have been removed in slow mode.
Bowser's Minions
This new story involves Bowser's minions battling the enemies of the Beanbean Kingdom to rescue Bowser, after he is knocked out from the Beanbean Border, lead by Captain Goomba. The battles are the two armies automatically fighting against each other, though the player can choose which characters to send in and what actions to take, the later of which costs CP.
