Bomb Flies are Bob-omb-like insect enemies in the game Gnat Attack, a minigame in Mario Paint. If a Bomb Fly is swatted or left alone, it explodes, so Mario should try to avoid them. They are some of the last enemies encountered before Watinga, the final boss of the game. In Super Mario Maker, one second is lost if they explode.
