A Foton is an enemy in Super Paper Mario. Fotons are often yellow and white; they shrink and grow rapidly, going as small as Mario's fist, and sometimes the size of Mario himself. They are quite simple, if Mario touches them, he loses some health. However, they can attack by portraying small bubbles from theirselves, which will float around and can hurt Mario. If he attacks them, they will be destroyed. They are only found in Chapters 4-1 and 4-3. Fotons resemble Chikakos from Super Mario Land.
