<youtube width="427" height="240">qME9UPzMRlc</youtube> Welcome to my userpage! I registered here April 30, 2010, but didn't start being more active until November 18, 2015. That was when I started to submit better imagery for MarioWiki, starting with Buoy Base Galaxy. Ever since then, I have been contributing better images anywhere I could, mostly replacing terrible game screenshots.

My birthdate in Unix timestamp is roughly 649,792,800. It would be really cool if a properly coded template could use that 32-bit integer to give us a user's birthday and age at the time a user requests the page that uses the template. Then you will know my age right away without having to update the information periodically! >:D

If you haven't guessed, I like coding things in programming and scripting languages. Specifically I like to code things in C# and C++.

I have been a fan of Mario since I was 8 years old when I got my SNES 2. I still have a special place for Mario but I have grown more accustomed to the F-Zero and Portal series.

I also play Mario Kart 8. My favorite character to use is Iggy. I played Mario Kart 7 more vigorously at one point as Metal Mario but I put that down in favor of the latest Mario Kart.

As of September 15th, 2016 at 12:45AM CST, I completed E. Gadd's Vault, both the ghosts found in Evershade Valley and the ones found in ScareScraper.

Best Emulators for Screenshots

End1S.png SAVE IN PNG FORMAT!

  • FCEUX for NES (most accurate NES emulator I have ever used)
  • Snes9x for SNES (it used to be ZSNES but the project seems to be abandoned)
  • Project64 with angrylion graphics plug-in for N64 (usually, but N64 emulation is very behind)
  • Dolphin for GameCube and Wii (very rare minor accuracy hiccups, usually with graphics)
  • VBA-M for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance (I may still recommend the older VisualBoyAdvance 1.8.0-beta 3 before VBA-M became a thing)
  • DeSmuME for DS (development seems to be progressing quite nicely)

Unused Files

I occasionally dig through Special:UnusedFiles. I mostly tag stuff there for immediate deletion ({{delete}}) or not sure if it should be deleted ({{tobedeleted}}), but I sometimes find images that can be salvaged for use elsewhere on MarioWiki. I also try to reduce redundancy with images. Why have duplicate files on the Wiki? It's inefficient.

HomePass

Need a lot of StreetPasses as your regular StreetPassing is not producing a lot of results, like for StreetPass Mii Plaza, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, or Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS? Try HomePass. HomePass lists MAC addresses to use with your wireless router equipped with DD-WRT to trick Nintendo 3DSs into thinking it is connecting to official Nintendo Zone hotspots around the world thanks to the StreetPass Relay update. I recommend doing this with a wireless router you are not using anymore. This setup also requires some basic home networking knowledge to set up without problems. My WRT54G has its DHCP server turned off and is wired up to slot one to my TC8305C I regularly use to an available slot.

Games That Scarred Me For Life

I'm traumatized by these games! Every screenshot I submitted for these games left an etching in my soul as I screamed at the screen.
