Poltergust 4000

The Poltergust 4000 is Luigi's kart of choice from Mario Kart DS. The kart appears to be the upgraded model of the Poltergust 3000 from Luigi's Mansion and is implied to be Professor E. Gadd's creationTemplate:Refneeded. It has good speed, acceleration and handling but low weight, drift and items. Its speed is tied with that of the Standard DK and the Dragonfly.

• The Poltergust 4000 is similar to the Super Poltergust 3001, one of Professor E. Gadd's vehicles.
• The Beta Poltergust 4000 had Professor E. Gadd's emblem on it.
• The Poltergust 4000 keeps up the continuity of the Luigi's Mansion series, as the Poltergust 3000 is featured in Luigi's Mansion, and the Poltergust 5000 is featured in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
