Template:Tweak
From the Super Mario Wiki, the Mario encyclopedia
Jump to navigationJump to search
It has been requested that this file should be Template:Color-link-piped for tweaked quality.
This template is for marking images that need an improved version of an image, but don't call for {{image-quality}}, as it would be too extreme.
Usage
What kind of images qualify for this tag:
- Transparency requested (sprites and white background images)
- Incorrect aspect ratio (16:9 render saved as 4:3 and vise-versa)
- Images with artifacting present (such as the artifacts that JPEGs produce that are preserved if converted to PNG or images with Dot crawl)
- Removal of watermarks (such as IGN or other logos)
- A proper resampling is needed (such as images that used a YouTube video as a source, images that are not scaled properly, or images that didn't take into account the internal resolution of the game hardware when they were sampled)
- Slightly inaccurate colors (such as FCEUX inaccurately emulating the NES and Famicom NTSC color palate, producing inaccurate imagery)
- Screenshots featuring emulator glitches (compare real hardware with the screenshot taken with an emulator for any inaccuracies)
Markup
- {{tweak}} - Default "for tweaked quality" displays.
- {{tweak|specify reason here}} - A more specific reason than "for tweaked quality" displays. Replace "specify reason here" with applicable information.
