The Star Carnival is a carnival happening once a year in the Marioverse. It's only appearance is in Mario Party 8. Mario, Luigi and all their friends come to their carnival in the game. MC Ballyhoo and Big Top, the hat are both the hosts of the carnival. The Star Carnival's name has Star in the name, a famous item in the Mario games.
Star Carnival Areas
The Star Carnival has a few areas.
- Party Tent – The biggest tent (and most likely the main attraction) the Party Tent is right in the middle of the carnival.
- Star Battle Arena – Most likely the main attraction, if not the second main attraction. Characters face off in various boards trying to get stars.
- Minigame Tent – An arcade in the Star Carnival, Miis, Koopas, Shy Guys, Goombas and many other species come to have fun here playing mini-games.
- Extras Zone – A tent full of games that even Miis can play here! These games are found nowhere else in the carnival.
- Fun Bazaar – Characters can come here to buy things-from games, to music to also looking at character's records in games.
