The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.
The Archie Mario comic is a failed pitch by Archie Comics (confirmed by Archie's Ian Flynn)[1][2], a comic publisher that has also published other video game-related comics including Sonic the Hedgehog and Megaman. Archie Comics have also created pitches for Kirby[3][4][5] and Metroid[6][7][8][9] but they were also similarly canceled. The images were drawn by Tracy Yardley, who illustrated other comics.
