A fun exercise in making the rules more clear and simpler in this format

  • Proposal outcomes
    • Proposals must be approved
via consensus before any action is taken.
    • All proposals must pass by a majority,
      including proposals
      with more than two options.
    • All past proposals are archived.
  • Examples of proposals are:
    • New features (such as an extension)
    • Removals of previously added features
      that have no purpose anymore
    • New policies
  • Voting procedures
    • Any user can support or oppose
but must have a strong reason for doing so,
not, e.g., "I like this idea!"
    • "Vote" periods last for one week.
2
  • Users can make a proposal of their idea about improving the wiki or managing its community, but feel that they need:
    • Community approval before acting upon the proposal idea.
2
  • Only registered, autoconfirmed users can:
    • Create a proposal
    • Comment in a proposal
    • Vote on a proposal
2
  • No proposal can overturn a previous proposal's decision that is:
    • Less than
      4 weeks (28 days) old.
