All of Mario's, Luigi's, and Bowser's rankings.

Ranks are a game mechanic introduced in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. They are bestowed upon a character who reaches an appropriate level. Each new rank confers benefits on the recipient.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

Ranks for the Mario Bros.

Mushroom Rank	Default	Allows up to one accessory to be equipped.
Shell Rank	6	Allows up to two accessories to be equipped.
Flower Rank	12	Allows up to three accessories to be equipped.
Shine Rank	18	Allows the bros to shop at the Toadles Boutique in Toad Town.
Star Rank	25	Allows the bros to shop at the Star Shop in Toad Town.
Rainbow Rank	40	When both brothers reach this rank, gives the Excellent!! Bros Badge.

Ranks for Bowser

Bronze Boss Rank	Default	Allows up to one accessory to be equipped.
Silver Boss Rank	10	Allows up to two accessories to be equipped.
Gold Boss Rank	20	Allows up to three accessories to be equipped.
Final Boss Rank	40	Gives the Intruder Fangs equipment to Bowser.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team

Ranks work slightly differently than the way they did in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Instead of set rewards, such as extra gear slots and shopping privileges, the player is given limited choices of what one Rank-Up Bonus they wish to give to Mario and Luigi respectively upon reaching a new rank per rank; this excludes Rainbow Rank, where the player gets two Rank-up Bonuses, giving the player the limit of five slots for bonuses per character if the player reaches Level 40.

The Rank-Up Bonuses are the following:

Gear Slot +1	Increases your apparel slots by one, letting you use more gear!	Shell Rank	Can be chosen twice. The player can give a brother another extra gear slot if they have already chosen Gear Slot +1 before.
Badge Stock +1	Adds an additional effect stock for your badges.	Shell Rank	If the player selects this for both Bros., they can have the maximum of four badge effect stocks.
HP Up+	Gives you an additional +2 HP every time you gain a level.	Shell Rank
POW Up+	Gives you an additional +1 POW every time you gain a level.	Shell Rank
BP Up+	Gives you an additional +1 BP every time you gain a level.	Shell Rank
Quick Level	Gives you 20% more EXP from enemies you defeat, making it easier to level up.	Shell Rank	Increases the total EXP by 20% for each enemy the Bros. defeat.
Iron Body	Reduces damage you receive from enemies by 25%.	Shell Rank
Jump Man	Boosts your solo-jump attack power to 125% of normal.	Flower Rank
Hammerhead	Boosts your solo-hammer attack power to 125% of normal.	Flower Rank
Counterer	Boosts your counter-attack power to 150% of normal.	Flower Rank
Shroom EXP	Makes Mushrooms give you EXP as well as HP. Mushrooms lovers level up easily!	Flower Rank	Using Mushrooms adds 150% of the healed HP to the EXP.
Big Lucky	Boosts the power of Lucky Hits so you can deliver 200% the normal damage.	Star Rank
Casual Bros.	Makes Bros./Luiginary Attacks cost half the BP they normally do.	Star Rank	Can be stacked with the Bros. Ring.
Quick Healer	Makes restoration items restore 200% of what they normally do (in battle).	Star Rank

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam

Ranks in this game work similar to the one in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, but there are seven ranks for every character.

STACHE Up+	Gives you an additional 1 STACHE every time you level up.	Shell Rank	Only one character can pick this bonus.
POW Up+	Gives you an additional +1 POW every time you gain a level.	Boomerang Rank	Only one character can pick this bonus.

Jump Man	Boosts your jump attack power by 25%.	Flower Rank

Mushroom EXP	Receive bonus EXP every time you eat a mushroom. Eat a lot to level up quickly!	Flower Rank
Copy Max +2	Increases the number of copies Paper Mario can have by 2.	Flower Rank, Star Rank	Only Paper Mario can choose this Bonus. Can be chosen 2 times for a max amount of 10 copies
Big Lucky	Doubles the damage of lucky hits.	Star Rank
Quick Healer	Doubles the effect of restoration items in battle.	Star Rank
Casual Bros.	Decreases the BP cost of Bros. and Trio Attacks by half.	Star Rank	Can be stacked with the Bros. Ring/Trio Ring.
Battle Card Discount	Lowers the cost to use battle cards by 1 Star Point.	Star Rank	Only one character can pick this bonus.
Quick Copy	Allows you another action after making copies.	Star Rank	Only Paper Mario can choose this Bonus. The effect cannot be stacked.
