Template:Infobox Yarn Yoshi is a cancelled 2.5D side-scrolling game for the Wii U developed by Good-Feel. It uses similar art material of yarn and textiles from the Wii game from the Kirby franchise, Kirby's Epic Yarn, which was also developed by Good-Feel. The game was not shown at E3 2013, so Good-Feel decided to cancel Yarn Yoshi and rework it into Yoshi's Woolly World.

Features

Yarn Yoshi is a platform game with textile and fabric environment that is played in a similar manner to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story. During levels, the playable character Yoshi starts out being made only of some yarn threads in his shape; however, the player can't swallow Shy Guys to lay eggs using his tounge. Instead of doing so, the player can swallow them to turn Yoshi into a three-dimensional, amigurumi crochet form.
