The 'Shroom:Issue 102/The 'Shroom Spotlight
Hello ‘Shroom readers! Welcome to this month's edition of Spotlight. What we do here is highlight several articles that aren't up to shape and then you guys go to fix them up.
Welcome all readers of The 'Shroom, and those who randomly found themselves here by accident! You should know the drill by now, but if not I'll just have to drill it into your minds (and yes, I mean literally, you just might have to wait for me to arrange travel).
Anyway, last month started off slow, in fact I'll admit that I was worried that we weren't going to get any contributions. Thankfully though, whilst our rewrite-expand and wanted articles focuses weren't done, the rest were.
As per usual, Time Turner (talk) contributed quite a bit to the project, helping remove the stub on George Washingtoad and also putting more images on Lanky Kong. He also assisted PowerKamek (talk) in removing trivia points on Kootie Pie Rocks. PowerKamek also helped rewrite Club Nintendo (rewards program), but Mario jc (talk) also did a lot of work there. So thanks to all you guys for pitching in!!!
Anyway, now to introduce our six new focuses.
- File:BlooperNSMB.png (Image Quality) – A Blooper following you around is scary in itself, a Blooper looking like that doubly so!
- Sacred Cylinder of Cheese (rewrite) – This sacred article has been defiled by a rewrite tag, and flowery writing and one massive paragraph of text.
- Mount Must Dash (rewrite-expand) – Whoever wrote the layout for the article definitely must have needed to dash.
- Ski Lift Leap (stub) – Yes, you'll have to play Yoshi's New Island, but I promise some form of reward if you improve the layout of this article.
- Watch the Skies (more images) – If you watch these skies you'll see nothing due to a lack of images.
- George Washington Slept Here (Wanted pages) – George Washington Slept Here, on this wiki! We need an article to commemorate that.
Be sure to check back here next month, where I'll review the progress made on each of these articles. Please contact me if you have any questions, comments or feedback, or post a message in the dedicated forum thread and I'll reply as soon as possible. Thanks for reading, and get working!
