Deep Focus (Badge)

Template:Badge-infobox Deep Focus is a badge in Paper Mario. It is found in Shy Guy's Toy Box, inside a hidden ? Block to the left of the red station, Princess Peach's Castle, in the room behind the far-right door on the second floor, and Bowser's Castle, on a platform at the entrance only obtainable after the lava surrounding it is stopped. If Mario equips this badge, more of his Star Power is refilled when using the Focus move. This does not affect his partners using the move if Group Focus is equipped.

• "I see...a Deep Focus Badge. It is in the Toy Box, in a room with a Ferris wheel and many platforms that move up and down. You smash an invisible block between the two Blocks in front of the 3 and 4 toy blocks to find it."
• "I see...a Deep Focus Badge. It is outside Bowser's Castle, near the outer wall. There is a cliff you normally cannot reach, but... You somehow cool off the lava stream so you can walk there. The Badge is in the red block."
• "I see...a Deep Focus Badge. It's near a big, beautiful treasure chest in Princess Peach's Castle, way up in the sky. The Badge is lying in front of a fallen chair near the chest."

Trivia

• The Deep Focus Badge found in Bowser's Castle uses the sprite of an unused Badge, which was supposed to be a more powerful version of Deep Focus. Once collected, it reverts into the normal Deep Focus sprite in the Badge menu.
