The Metal Mushroom is a Mushroom made out of metal that first appeared in Mario Party 6 and then Mario Party 7. It was not in Mario Party 8.
This Mushroom when used, will turn the character who uses it into metal form. If Mario uses it he will turn into Metal Mario, Luigi into Metal Luigi ect.
You can only be metal for one turn thought-when any Metal character passes a space with a Thrown Orbs on it, it will not have effect on the character.
The Metal Cap works similarly to the Metal Mushroom.
