  • The third wave of Super Smash Bros. amiibo figures launched in Europe on January 23, 2015 and in the Americas on February 6, 2015.
  • Donkey Kong Country Returns (pictured) was released on the Wii U Nintendo eShop in Japan on January 21, 2015, in Europe on January 22, and in Australia on January 23. DK: King of Swing was also released on the eShop in Europe and Australia on January 22 and January 23, respectively.
  • Nintendo has announced that the Club Nintendo rewards program will be discontinued in North America on June 30, 2015, and in Japan, Europe and Australia on September 30, 2015, with another program replacing it later that year.
  • In the latest Nintendo Direct on January 14, 2015, the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL were announced to be released on February 13, 2015 in Europe, while the XL model was announced for release on the same day in North America. Mario Party 10 was announced to be released on March 12, 2015 in Japan, and March 20 in North America and Europe. More information was released about Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars. A Super Mario amiibo line was announced for release in March 2015. Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition, a game announced for release in Japan on April 29, 2015 one week prior to the conference, was also confirmed for a Western release in May 2015, bundled with Puzzle & Dragons Z. Super Mario Galaxy 2 was announced and released as a digital download on the Wii U eShop in North America and Europe on January 14, 2015, and was released in Australia on January 15.
