• In the latest Nintendo Direct on January 14, 2015, the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL were announced to be released on February 13, 2015 in Europe, while the XL model was announced for release on the same day in North America. Mario Party 10 was announced to be released on March 12, 2015 in Japan, and March 20 in North America and Europe. A Super Mario line of amiibo was announced for release in March 2015. Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition (pictured), a game announced for release in Japan on April 29, 2015 one week prior to the conference, was also confirmed for a Western release in May 2015, bundled with Puzzle & Dragons Z. Super Mario Galaxy 2 was announced and released as a digital download on the Wii U eShop in North America and Europe on January 14, 2015, and will be released in Europe and Australia on January 15; Donkey Kong Country Returns has also been announced to be released in Europe on January 22, 2015.
• Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was released in Europe on January 2, 2015 and in Australia on January 3, 2015.
• Mario Party Advance was released on the Wii U Virtual Console in the Americas and Europe on December 25, 2014; Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 was released on the same day in the Americas. Super Mario Bros. Deluxe was also released on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console on the same day in the Americas.
• The second wave of Super Smash Bros. amiibo figurines were released in the Americas during December 2014, and in Europe on December 19, 2014.
