Gilbert the Gooey's Castle is level 1-8 of Yoshi's Island DS. It is also the second castle of the game.
Gooey Goons make their first appearance in the level, as well as the Super Big Blargg. The boss of this level (and World 1) is Gilbert the Gooey, a huge, beige Gooey Goon covered in twenty colorful gems.
