Mini Donkey Kong
Template:Species-infobox The Mini Donkey Kongs are Donkey Kong toys that the Mario Toy Company sells, regularly appearing since Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. Their key is different than the other minis. Due to the success of the Mini Mario toys, the company was allowed to expand to sell other Mini toys, including Mini Peach, Mini Toad and Mini Donkey Kong toys as well. Like all the other Minis besides Mini Marios, they are sealed in a capsule and can be set free when touched.
Donkey Kong
"MINI DONKEY KONG" first appeared in the Game & Watch version of Donkey Kong, predating Donkey Kong Jr. It only functioned as the unit's alarm rather than a part of normal gameplay. It is ostensibly not the same as the Mini Donkey Kongs seen over two decades later, although that is impossible to tell given it's only seen with two frames of LCD animation.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis
Mini Donkey Kongs are playable in the Construction Zone but Special Kit 3 (which can be unlocked by beating all 8 mini-games) has to be unlocked first. There are also Fire Mini Donkey Kongs.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!
Mini Donkey Kongs return in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!. They need to be taken to their own door instead of the Regular Goal. They are unlocked by defeating Donkey Kong in World 4's Plus Mode and then beating rooftop levels 7, 8 and 9.
Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move
Mini Donkey Kongs also appear in Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move. In this game, he is unlocked when Giant Jungle in the Main Game is unlocked.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong (Wii U)
Mini Donkey Kongs are set to reappear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong (Wii U). They now have visible eyes.
