Islands
Islands is a multiplayer minigame in Game & Wario for the Wii U. The game can have up to five players, all sharing the GamePad. The player launches Fronks onto a target.
Gameplay
The minigame supports 2-5 players. The players can choose which color Fronks they get. The player launches the Fronks on a target, which can turn. The player's Fronks are all launched at the same time. Sometimes, a seagull grabs a Fronk and drops it in the water, losing points. The sections of the target are 10, 50 and 100. The center never changes, always granting 30 points. The colors are the standard yellow, but now includes purple, red, green and blue. There are three rounds in a four/five player game, four in a three-player game and five in a two-player game.
Template:Conjecturaltext
Sometimes, a seagull drops a {{conjecturaltext|bonus machine)) on the target. If a Fronk lands on the section with the machine, then it has a ⅓ chance of getting ½ (multiplies the score by 1½ as much), 2 (doubles the score) or 4 (quadruples the score). Note that it only multiplies points of the section, not the overall score.
Losing points
The Template:Conjecturaltext goes around in circles before it stops and makes a decision which of the three it will be. It can knock off Fronks (even the player who got the bonus' Fronks). The target also tilts, causing Fronks to fall off. They can also gain/lose points if they end up on another section. As mentioned above, a seagull can drop a Fronk in the water.
Trivia
- This is the first time a non-yellow Fronk appears (although yellow Fronks appear too).
