Big Sphen

Template:Species-infobox Big Sphens are rare enemies appearing in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. They are fat, blue penguins with a yellow mohawk, a pair of brown wristbands, and a belt with the Snowmad insignia on them. Big Sphens are always carrying a wooden saxophone-like instrument with them.

Big Sphens attack by blowing their horns, which releases three Finley-like creatures made of ice. They move slowly back and forth after each attack. Big Sphens can be defeated with three jumps, three rolls, or by throwing a barrel or enemy at them.

They first appear in the boss level Big Top Bop aiding Pompy. Their attack methods are jumping out and ground pounding onto the field. Later, three of them and Pompy slide around on the arena and the kongs have to jump on them one by one or carefully dodge them but hit Pompy. Template:BoxTop Template:DKC:TF
