Template:Distinguish2 Template:Location-infobox Mushroom World refers to the lands from Super Mario Bros. 3. The Mushroom Kingdom serves as a gateway to these lands. In Super Mario Bros. 3, Bowser and the Koopalings have taken over the seven kingdoms of the Mushroom World. They steal the magic wands of each king and transform the kings of each land to various creatures, but Mario and Luigi eventually defeat them and restore the lands and kings to normal.

In Paper Mario, "Mushroom World" also refers to the Mushroom Kingdom in the Japanese script of Paper Mario.Template:Refneeded In Paper Mario, Mushroom World is synonymous to Mushroom Kingdom. In the game, Mario travels through this world to recover the Star Spirits so he can eventually face Bowser and rescue Princess Peach. Along the way, he meets several partners that aid him on his journey throughout the Mushroom World.

In Super Mario RPG, the world is known as Mario World in Japanese (マリオワールド).Template:Refneeded
