The 8 bits (sometimes called the 8-Bit Club) is the name of an organization of Shy Guys, Beezos, and Snifits that aided Wart in his conquest of the land of dreams, Subcon, in Super Mario Bros. 2. Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Peach encountered members of the 8 bits in almost every location they visited, be it in the desert, clouds, or tundra. Despite the fact that the 8 bits seemed to have a limitless amount of Shy Guys, Tweeters, Snifits, Beezos, and other enemies, they could all be easily defeated by simply picking them up and tossing them at other enemies.

- The 8 bits is named after the Nintendo Entertainment System's bit number, eight.
